Okells Francis Law are looking for an experienced Private Client Lawyer to join their busy 2 office practice
The Role – This is a full time permanent position, managing our Private Client Department. The work consists of a varied, high quality case load including Wills, Estate Administration, Estate Planning, Trust Administration, LPA’s, Tax Planning, Court of Protection and other related Private Client matters, together with dealing with all aspects of elderly client issues. The firm has a significant agricultural client base.
The Person – A confident Private Client Lawyer (ideally STEP qualified,) you will have at least 5+ years experience of handling all aspects of this type of work and managing/ supervising a team. You must be able to work autonomously, instil confidence in clients and have a positive attitude to your work.
The Location – set in the beautiful county of Herefordshire, Ross-on-Wye serves a wide radius of the surrounding counties. This long established and well-respected firm has a second office in Lydney set in the Forest of Dean. With excellent road access from the M4, M50 and M5 this is an excellent central location.

Burges Salmon are looking to recruit a Rural Property Lawyer with excellent academics, together with evidence of high quality relevant experience. You will be comfortable working with both private clients and corporate/institutional clients and their agents. Detailed knowledge of agricultural property law is not required, as training will be provided.
The core non-contentious Rural Property team comprises two partners and two senior associates working with a dedicated team of solicitors and legal executives.
The Rural Property Team are property lawyers who form a key part of the firm’s multidisciplinary Food and Farming specialism, which advises food retailers, distributors, processors and producers alongside landowners and farmers. They work closely with the firm’s private client and dispute resolution teams as well as with lawyers in allied areas such as banking, planning, environment, energy and corporate law.
