The ALA East of England Group and the Cambs & Isle of Ely Agricultural Valuers Association are pleased to invite you to their joint Autumn Seminar ‘Divorce & the Farm’ to be held at Best Western, Stow Cum Quy, Cambridge.
Our speakers are:
James Grigg, Head of Family (Family Law Team), HCR Hewitsons
James has been specialising in Family Law for 25 years. He is a member of Resolution and a trained Collaborative lawyer. He deals mainly with the financial aspects arising following the breakdown of a relationship.
James is regularly instructed in farming cases, whether for one of the parties to the relationship or a family member/business partner intervening in the proceedings. He undertakes the vast majority of his own advocacy and has acted for clients at all levels, from the Family Court to the Grand Chamber of the European Court of Human Rights. James is recommended in the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners.
Jeremy Procter MRICS ACIArb, Partner, Bidwells
Jeremy joined Bidwells in 1987 and moved into institutionally owned land management for several pension funds, including 11,000 acre estate in south west Wales, all let and then diversified into a range of professional work including valuations, rural landlord and tenant which is where he has specialised for the last 20 years or so, along with some compulsory purchase work.
Jeremy is a member of the RICS panel of independent experts and is regularly appointed to act as either SJE or expert in a range of valuation or rural property disputes – for court, arbitration or mediation.
