ALA Cornwall and Devon are delighted to invite you to their Winter Seminar “Agricultural Tenancies – drilling into the detail of Tenant’s Improvement and Succession” on Thursday 23rd January 2025, 14.00 – 18.00 at Strawberry Fields, Lifton, Devon PL16 0DH.
The Cornwall and Devon Regional Group will be hosting an informative seminar focusing on topical agricultural law issues.
We are delighted to be joined by speakers Jamie Sutherland and Emily Windsor from Falcon Chambers. The speakers will provide an update on recent case law and discuss practical examples of cases they have been working on in the key topics of:
1. Tenant’s Improvements – when is a fixture not a fixture – an overview of the statutory improvements regime and caselaw for Farm Business Tenancies and Agricultural Holdings
2. Succession – considering the recent changes to the statutory succession requirements for Agricultural Holdings Act 1986 tenancies
