Starter for Ten – Wales

ALA’s training course, Starter for Ten, gives a basic introduction to elements of the law which are relevant to rural business advice.

Land law and tenancies are covered as are the new agricultural policies and legislation as they apply to Wales.

The course also covers general rural planning, farm business structures, agricultural tenancy litigation and general rural property law.

The 2024 Starter for Ten Wales will be held at Crai Valley Eco Lodges, Brecon LD3 8YP on Tuesday, 16 to Thursday, 18 April inclusive.

Membership of the Association is open to any professional of whatever discipline advising in rural business or any other person interested in the subject including those studying a recognised degree or diploma course whose application is approved.

The subscription is £100 per annum for Full Membership, £50 per annum for Retired Members and free of charge if you are a Student in full time education.
