Joint ALA Northern Ireland & NIRVA – NI Agricultural Policy Stakeholder Event

The ALA Northern Ireland Region are holding a joint event with NIRVA on Monday, 10 September to consider DAERA’s recently published stakeholder consultation on the future agricultural policy in Northern Ireland.

The event will take place at the Tullylagan Country House Hotel, Cookstown and is open to all ALA/NIRVA members and non-members.

Specifically, we are pleased to confirm that Norman Fulton (Deputy Secretary, DAERA), Wesley Aston (Chief Executive, Ulster Farmers’ Union) and Aisling Meehan (lead contributor, Department of Agriculture Food and the Marine/Department of Finance – Agri-Taxation Review), will be speaking on the proposals.

For ALA members, following the main morning presentations and lunch, there will be an opportunity to consider the key points of the proposals which will assist in preparing the Association’s response to the consultation.
