ALA & Scottish Land Commission – Mediation in the Tenant Farming Sector

Monday 7 December 2020 - Tuesday 8 December 2020

The Scottish Land Commission and the Agricultural Law Association, in association with Scottish Mediation, invite you to a unique online training event: a mock mediation to try to resolve a waygoing from an agricultural holding.

The event will be introduced by Jon Robertson (Turcan Connell) and Bob McIntosh (Tenant Farming Commissioner).

In our mock scenario, Pamela Lyall, Mediator, and Lindsay Burley, Mediator, Eskhill and Co, have been instructed as mediators and will work with the Landlord and the Tenant to try to reach a mutually acceptable outcome. Robin Burley, Eskhill and Co, will host the mock mediation and enable delegates to ask questions as the process unfolds.
