ALA Cheshire
Monday 24 June 2019
The ALA Cheshire Group will be holding their summer estate visit on the Barnston Estate, Farndon on Monday, 24 June.
The Barnston Estate traces its lineage back to the era of the Norman Conquest.
The Estate covers 1,800 acres and since 1980 has diversified its core agricultural base which, at that time, provided 90% of Estate income.
Today the Estate has a more balanced portfolio comprising dairy farms, forestry, renewable energy, residential housing and a growing range of commercial properties.
The tour is open to Members and Non-Members.
