We have a growing library of materials on the 2003 reform of the Common Agricultural Policy of the European Union available for Members. The changes implementing the Single Payment Scheme have had a profound effect on all those involved in agriculture and rural business.

The restricted-access Members' Section of this site contains copies of the Regulations from the European Council and Commission which govern CAP from January 2005, including the replacement Council Regulation effective from January 2009, together explanatory materials discussing their effect. It also contains some background to the scheme along with guides issued by DEFRA.
